Terms & Conditions

TTC Courses / Technician Training Canada  ยท  Effective date: 11 May 2026

These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the TTC Courses website, the purchase of any TTC course, access to any online training platform, and the use of any course materials, training devices, tools, certificates or related services. By using our website, creating an account, purchasing a course, accessing course materials, using training devices or participating in any training activity, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Business Details

Technology Training Australia Pty Ltd, trading as TTC Courses, Technician Training Canada, and/or TTA (TTC, we, us, or our) provides online training courses, educational materials, course access, certificates of completion and related training resources.

Section 2

Definitions

Account means the online account created by a student to access TTC courses.

Advanced Certificate means any TTC advanced certificate course offered through our website or learning platform.

Certificate means a certificate of completion issued by TTC after a student satisfies the relevant course requirements.

Course means any online training course, lesson, module, video, quiz, test, certificate pathway, digital resource or educational material supplied by TTC.

Course Materials means all videos, text, images, documents, quizzes, tests, downloadable materials, certificates, instructions, diagrams, graphics, website content and learning content supplied by TTC.

Customer, Student, you, or your means the person who visits our website, creates an account, purchases a course, accesses course materials, receives training devices or uses our services.

Fee means the price payable for a course, product, training device package, service or other item supplied by TTC.

Training Device means a device supplied by TTC for training practice only. This may include a used, faulty, damaged, incomplete, locked, non functional or partially functional phone or device.

Section 3

Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing our website, purchasing a course, creating an account, using the learning platform, receiving training devices, downloading course materials or using any TTC service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you must not use our website, purchase a course, access course materials, use training devices or participate in any training activity.

TTC may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued use of our website, learning platform or services after an update means you accept the updated Terms and Conditions.

Section 4

Nature of Our Courses

TTC provides online training and educational content only. Our courses may include video lessons, written materials, demonstrations, quizzes, tests, certificates and optional training devices.

TTC does not physically supervise you while you perform any repair, training activity or practical exercise. You are responsible for deciding whether you have the skill, confidence, tools, protective equipment, workspace and legal right to perform any practical activity.

You must stop immediately if you are unsure, feel unsafe, do not have the correct tools or protective equipment, or believe that continuing may cause injury, property damage or device damage.
Section 5

No Government Accreditation

TTC certificates are issued by TTC Courses / Technology Training Australia Pty Ltd. TTC certificates are not government accredited qualifications and are not issued by the Government of Canada, any Canadian province or territory, the Government of Australia, any public training authority or any registered training organisation unless expressly stated in writing.

TTC courses do not provide a trade licence, government licence, electrical licence, repair licence, regulated occupation licence, immigration qualification, apprenticeship qualification, college diploma or government recognised vocational qualification.

You must not represent a TTC certificate as a government accredited qualification or claim that TTC certification gives you any licence, legal authority, trade status or regulated professional recognition unless such recognition is separately granted by a lawful authority.
Section 6

No Employment, Income or Business Guarantee

TTC does not guarantee that completing a course will result in:

  1. employment or job offers
  2. business success or increased income
  3. customer demand
  4. successful repairs
  5. acceptance by employers, insurers or government bodies
  6. recognition by any professional body
  7. the ability to repair every device

Your results depend on your own skill, practice, effort, tools, business setup, local laws, customer demand, safety standards and other factors outside TTC's control.

Section 7

Student Responsibility and Safety

You accept full responsibility for your own safety when using course materials, tools, parts, batteries, screens, devices and training devices. You must take reasonable safety precautions including:

  1. wearing suitable safety glasses or eye protection
  2. wearing suitable protective gloves where appropriate
  3. working in a clean, stable, well lit and safe workspace
  4. keeping children and pets away from devices, tools, batteries and small parts
  5. keeping liquids away from electronic devices and tools
  6. using heat tools carefully and only where safe
  7. safely storing screws, glass, batteries, parts and tools
  8. avoiding work on swollen, leaking, smoking, hot or damaged batteries
  9. stopping immediately if a device becomes hot, smokes, leaks, sparks or smells unusual
  10. checking local workplace, insurance and legal requirements before offering repair services to others
  11. not attempting any activity beyond your ability, equipment or training level

You understand that phone repair and electronic device repair can involve risks including cuts, burns, eye injury, electric shock, chemical exposure, battery fire, battery explosion, inhalation of fumes, property damage and device damage. You take part in all practical activities at your own risk.

Section 8

Injury and Damage Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TTC is not responsible for any injury, loss, damage, claim, cost or expense arising from your use of tools, course materials, batteries, training devices, or any practical repair activity performed by you. TTC provides training information only and does not control your workspace, tools, safety equipment, personal behaviour, skill level, device condition or repair environment.

Section 9

Battery Safety

Lithium ion batteries and other device batteries can be dangerous if handled incorrectly.

You must not continue working on a battery that is swollen, leaking, hot, smoking, punctured, bent, damaged, giving off an odour, making noise or showing any sign of instability.

You must not puncture, crush, bend, burn, overheat or improperly dispose of a battery. You are responsible for learning and following safe battery handling, storage and disposal practices in your location. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TTC is not responsible for injury, fire, chemical exposure, property damage or other loss caused by battery handling or battery failure.

Section 10

Tools and Protective Equipment

TTC may recommend or provide information about tools, parts or protective equipment for general training purposes only. You are responsible for selecting appropriate tools and protective equipment for your circumstances. You must inspect tools and equipment before use and must not use damaged, unsuitable or unsafe tools. TTC is not responsible for injury, device damage, property damage or other loss caused by your tools, tool use, tool misuse, lack of protective equipment or unsafe work practices.

Section 11

Optional Training Devices

Some TTC Advanced Certificate courses may include two training devices. Training devices are optional. If you do not want to receive training devices, you must notify TTC at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. before dispatch.

Training devices are provided for training practice only and are not sold as working consumer devices. Training devices may be faulty, used, damaged, incomplete, locked, non functional, scratched, cracked, missing parts, previously repaired, liquid damaged or otherwise unsuitable for normal use. You accept that training devices are supplied only to support training practice.

Section 12

Training Device Risk

All risk in training devices passes to you once the devices are delivered to your nominated address. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TTC is not responsible for injury, battery issues, electrical faults, missing parts, locked devices, non functional devices, data on devices, misuse of training devices, loss or damage after delivery, resale or attempted resale, or any later use of the training devices.

You must not resell training devices as working devices or represent training devices as tested, safe, functional, refurbished or suitable for consumer use.
Section 13

Delivery of Training Devices

Where training devices are included and not opted out of, TTC will arrange delivery to the address provided by you. You are responsible for providing accurate delivery information. TTC is not responsible for delay, loss, failed delivery or incorrect delivery caused by incorrect information supplied by you. Delivery times are estimates only. TTC is not responsible for delivery delays caused by postal services, couriers, customs, weather, strikes or events outside our reasonable control.

Section 14

Course Access

After payment is accepted, TTC will provide access to the course through the website or learning platform. Access may be provided automatically or manually. Course access may be delayed by payment review, technical issues, account setup or third party system delays. You are responsible for ensuring that your device, browser, internet connection and email account can access the learning platform.

Section 15

Course Changes and Updates

TTC may update, change, replace, remove, restructure or improve any course, lesson, video, quiz, certificate, course material or learning platform feature at any time. Course content may change because of device changes, technology changes, training improvements, platform updates or safety improvements. TTC does not guarantee that every course, video, module, feature or certificate format will remain unchanged.

Section 16

Course Completion and Certificates

A certificate may be issued when you complete the required course components and satisfy the relevant course requirements. TTC may withhold, cancel, revoke or amend a certificate if payment is reversed or disputed, the certificate was issued in error, you breached these Terms and Conditions, you shared your account, you cheated, you misrepresented the certificate or you made false claims about accreditation.

Certificates remain the intellectual property of TTC, but you may use your certificate for personal evidence of course completion, provided that you do not misrepresent its status.

Section 17

Student Conduct

You must not:

  1. share your login details or allow another person to access your account
  2. copy, download, record, reproduce or distribute course videos except where expressly allowed
  3. resell course materials or upload TTC content to another website or file sharing service
  4. use TTC content to create competing training materials
  5. interfere with, hack, test, overload or disrupt our website or platform
  6. use TTC branding without permission
  7. claim government accreditation where none exists
  8. make false or misleading claims using a TTC certificate
  9. harass, abuse or threaten TTC staff, contractors or students
  10. use training devices for resale as working devices
  11. use our services for unlawful, unsafe or misleading purposes

TTC may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms and Conditions.

Section 18

Intellectual Property

All course materials, videos, written content, graphics, quizzes, tests, certificates, website content, logos, branding, layouts, images, training structures and digital materials are owned by TTC or licensed to TTC. When you purchase a course, you receive a personal, limited, non transferable licence to access the course for your own learning. You do not own the course materials. Any unauthorised use may result in account termination and legal action.

Section 19

Prices and Payment

Course fees and other prices are displayed on our website or checkout page. Prices may change at any time. The price payable is the price shown at the time of purchase, unless there is an obvious pricing error. Payments may be processed by Stripe or another third party payment provider. You are responsible for any bank fees, card fees, currency conversion fees, taxes, chargeback fees or other fees charged by your financial institution.

Section 20

Taxes and Currency

Prices may be displayed in Canadian dollars or another currency depending on the website, checkout system or payment provider. Taxes, duties or other charges may apply depending on your location and the nature of the purchase. You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, customs charges or other government charges unless the checkout page states otherwise.

Section 21

Refunds and Cancellations

Because TTC courses are digital education products and access may be granted shortly after purchase, refunds are limited. Unless required by applicable law, TTC does not provide refunds where:

  1. course access has been granted
  2. you changed your mind or did not use the course
  3. you did not complete the course or failed a quiz or test
  4. you expected government accreditation even though TTC stated certificates are TTC issued only
  5. you do not have suitable internet, device or browser access
  6. you opted not to use the training devices or training devices have already been dispatched
  7. you breached these Terms and Conditions

TTC may consider refund requests at its sole discretion. Nothing in this section excludes any refund, cancellation or consumer right that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Section 22

Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback, payment dispute or reversal after receiving course access, TTC may suspend your account while the matter is investigated. If a chargeback or payment reversal is successful, TTC may cancel your course access and revoke any certificate issued. Section 23

Platform Availability

TTC aims to provide reasonable access to the learning platform but does not guarantee uninterrupted, continuous, error free or secure access. The website or learning platform may be unavailable because of maintenance, software updates, hosting issues, plugin issues, internet outages, cyberattacks, security incidents, browser or device incompatibility, third party provider failure or events outside our reasonable control. TTC is not responsible for loss, inconvenience or delay caused by temporary or permanent platform interruption, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

Section 24

Cybersecurity and Hacking

TTC takes reasonable steps to maintain the security of its website, learning platform and business systems. However, no website, learning management system, plugin, server, email system, payment system or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TTC is not responsible for loss, damage, interruption, unauthorised access, data loss, malware, phishing, hacking, cyberattack, software vulnerability or security incident caused by events outside TTC's reasonable control.

Privacy

Your use of our website, learning platform and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our website, purchasing a course or creating an account, you agree that TTC may collect, use, disclose and store personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for keeping your account login details secure.

Direct Marketing and Electronic Communications

By creating an account, purchasing a course or contacting TTC, you may receive service related communications from us including payment confirmations, course access details, password resets, certificate information and important course updates. We may also send marketing communications where permitted by law. AI Generated and Illustrative Marketing Images

Our website, advertisements, social media pages and promotional materials may include AI generated images, edited images, stock images, mock ups, staged scenes or other illustrative content. Unless clearly stated otherwise, these images are for illustrative and promotional purposes only and should not be understood as showing real students, real customers, real certificates issued to specific individuals, real training locations, guaranteed outcomes or actual events.

Section 28

Course Descriptions and Advertising

TTC aims to describe its courses, inclusions, pricing, certificate status and learning outcomes accurately. However, images, short advertisements, social media posts and promotional summaries may not contain every detail of the course. You must read the full course page, checkout information, Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and any safety disclaimer before purchasing. Written course information on the website takes priority over promotional images or short advertising captions.

Section 29

Device Compatibility and Course Scope

TTC courses may focus on selected phone models, device types, repairs or training activities. TTC does not guarantee that every device model, every repair method, every fault, every tool or every repair scenario will be covered. You are responsible for checking whether a course is suitable for your needs before purchase.

Section 30

No Professional Advice

TTC course materials are provided for general educational and training purposes only. They do not constitute legal, business, financial, tax, insurance, employment, workplace health and safety, electrical, engineering or professional advice. You are responsible for seeking professional advice where required and for checking local laws, business rules, insurance requirements and safety rules before offering repair services to customers.

Section 31

Repair Outcomes

TTC does not guarantee that you will successfully repair any device. Repair outcomes depend on many factors including your skill, practice, tools, parts, workspace, device condition, battery condition, previous damage, hidden faults, software locks, part quality and safety practices. TTC is not responsible for failed repair attempts, damaged devices, damaged parts, lost data, lost income, customer claims or repair mistakes made by you.

Section 32

Data on Devices

You are responsible for backing up and protecting data on any device you handle. You must not access, copy, misuse, share or disclose another person's data. You must ensure that any device you repair, train on or handle is lawfully in your possession. TTC is not responsible for data loss, privacy breaches, account locks, activation locks, software issues or unauthorised access caused by your handling of devices.

Section 33

Prohibited Use of Training

You must not use TTC training, course materials, certificates, logos, training devices or information:

  1. for unlawful purposes or to mislead customers
  2. to impersonate TTC or claim government accreditation
  3. to perform unsafe repairs or access data without permission
  4. to bypass security unlawfully or misrepresent your qualifications
  5. to resell training devices as working phones
  6. to breach any law, regulation, platform rule or third party right

Account Suspension and Termination

TTC may suspend, restrict or terminate your account if TTC reasonably believes that you breached these Terms and Conditions, failed to pay, shared your account, copied or distributed course materials, misused TTC certificates or branding, made false claims about accreditation, behaved abusively toward TTC staff, or attempted to interfere with the website or platform. TTC is not required to provide a refund where access is suspended or terminated because of your breach, except where required by law.

Third Party Links and Services

Our website or course materials may link to third party websites, tools, products, videos, platforms, services or resources. TTC does not control third party websites or services and is not responsible for third party content, availability, accuracy, security, privacy practices, pricing, terms, products or services. You use third party websites and services at your own risk.

Section 36

Reviews, Testimonials and User Content

If you provide a review, testimonial, comment, image, video, certificate photo, feedback or other content to TTC, you grant TTC permission to use that content for business, website, marketing, social media and promotional purposes, unless you clearly tell us otherwise in writing. You must not provide content that is false, misleading, unlawful, defamatory, offensive, infringing or that contains another person's personal information without permission.

Section 37

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TTC, Technology Training Australia Pty Ltd, its owners, directors, employees, contractors, agents, suppliers and service providers are not liable for any injury, illness, death, device damage, battery incident, fire, electric shock, chemical exposure, property damage, data loss, failed repair, loss of income, loss of business, loss of opportunity, loss of profit, reputational damage, platform outage, cyberattack, hacking incident, third party provider failure, or indirect, special, incidental, punitive or consequential loss. This applies whether the claim arises in contract, tort, negligence, statute, equity or otherwise, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

Section 38

Maximum Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, if TTC is found liable to you for any claim connected with a course, product, training device, certificate, website, learning platform or service, TTC's total liability will be limited to the amount you paid to TTC for the relevant course or service giving rise to the claim. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot be limited by law.

Section 39

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify TTC, Technology Training Australia Pty Ltd, its owners, directors, employees, contractors, agents and service providers against any claim, loss, damage, cost, expense or liability arising from your breach of these Terms and Conditions, misuse of course materials or training devices, repair activities, unsafe conduct, failure to wear protective equipment, false or misleading claims, misuse of TTC certificates or branding, breach of law, infringement of another person's rights, or any claim made by a third party arising from your actions.

Section 40

Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, legal right, warranty, remedy or protection that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified under applicable law. Where TTC is permitted to limit its liability, TTC limits its liability to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Section 41

Force Majeure

TTC is not liable for delay, failure, interruption, loss or damage caused by events outside its reasonable control. This may include natural disasters, fire, flood, storm, pandemic, epidemic, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, labour disputes, courier delays, customs delays, government action, power failure, internet failure, hosting failure, cyberattack, payment processor failure, third party platform failure or software failure.

Section 42

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, unless applicable Canadian consumer protection, privacy or other mandatory law requires otherwise. You agree that the courts of Queensland, Australia have jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires another forum. Nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply in your province, territory or country.

Section 43

Severability

If any part of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that part will be treated as removed or modified to the minimum extent necessary. The remaining parts will continue to apply.

Section 44

No Waiver

If TTC does not enforce a right under these Terms and Conditions, that does not mean TTC has waived that right. TTC may enforce its rights later.
